In mid-1994 Christine, following her intuition, was led to a local market where a huge pair of wooden wings pointed the way to a woman selling butterflies in all forms imaginable.
The conversation that followed convinced Christine to go ahead with her plans to create a centre aimed at helping people who were opening up to hidden knowledge and seeking to become aware of the possibilities that life really has on offer, and so the task to find and create the cocoon in which this could occur began.
And in October of that year, Chrysalis Relaxation Centre opened its doors to those who found their way.

In 1998 and in the market for a new house, Christine began the rounds of open houses. There was one property that she particularly liked and when her attention was drawn to the very butterfly wings that had pointed her in the right direction four years earlier, she took them as a positive sign and purchased the property.
Interestingly, when the previous owner moved, he left the wings behind. And that’s how they come to be at Chrysalis today.
The only change made, was to have them painted more appropriately for our requirements, and for that we graciously give our thanks to Stacey Fuller for a job well done.
And now, every time we open our doors, they are there to bid you welcome.
